32 weeks, 7 left to go!

Yesterday Dan took me to another ultrasound appointment. We go and see the high risk specialist office for these appointments.
The benefits of being high risk is that I get so many ultrasounds! I get them every 4 weeks. Yesterday, Cameron was measuring in the 50th percentile- not too big, and not too little! He weighs 3 pounds and 14 ounces. At his current rate of growth, he will be perfect- between 6-8 pounds.
I also started having NST tests- non-stress tests. I have to do these twice a week until Cam comes. I go in to the specialist, and the nurses strap me up to the fetal monitor. They watch Cam's heart rate and reaction to contractions and activity. As you would expect, with activity, his heart rate should go up, with rest and contractions, it should drop, but only slightly.
Yesterday he was very, very active as usual, and we had to be monitored a little longer than normal because he was moving so much. He passed his first test.
They have to do these tests because of my blood thinners and chronic high blood pressure. We have to make sure that these issues don't interfere with his development. There is a chance that because of these problems, the farther out we get, it will cause the placenta to become inefficient.
We got a couple new pictures yesterday- unfortunately I couldn't get them on the computer. We got a 3d picture of his face, and he looks like his cheeks are filling out and getting chubby! I am so excited to meet him!
We are set to hopefully do an induction in 7 weeks! It is coming fast!!

It's so fun to get to see them grow in their ultrasounds! We're part of a study and we get three extra ultrasounds. I think it's going to be so hard in the next pregnancy to not get to see the baby as often! We're super excited for your good news!
