My Gramp's niece bred and raised yorkies and gifted one to my grandparents.
Peanut was quite the treasure. Where my Gram was, there was Peanut.
Peanut was tenacious, spunky, and a huge boy in a tiny body.
14 years is a long time for a little dog and after suffering some suspicious injuries, Peanut really went down hill the past 2 years. He started having some problems with his legs and nerves, and my Gramp suspects the vet he took him to injured him further when he did a joint injection in his back. It really crippled poor little Peanut.
Gramp decided to put Peanut to rest yesterday. I know that will leave quite the hole in my Gramp's heart, but rest assured, Peanut is in a much better place and whole again.
Peanut had a place at the game table. He really helped Gramp keep his poker face!
RIP Peanut! 1999-2013
