Zoo Lights

I picked up a coupon at Wendy's for zoo lights. I had never been, Dan either- and with the coupon, admission was only $3. We decided to bundle up and head up to the zoo to see what it was all about! Many of the animals were inside for the night- but some that are more adapted to the cold were out and about.

The sea lions were playing, the bears were sleeping. Our favorite part was the tigers. One big guy was really active-but I felt bad for him, because he seemed highly annoyed at all the gawking peeps. He was pacing around and being quite vocal. It was very neat to see and hear him. We were amazed at how active he was!!

Another awesome part was the activities going on. There was Christmas music playing, and we watched a guy sculpt some ice.

It was a great night out. The display of lights was impressive! Many of the lights were animated to move like the animals. Definitely worth our $3 admission. That will be a fun tradition to add to our holiday festivities when our kiddo(s) get a bit older!!
