Our sickie sick shenanigans

I shoulda done it. I shoulda done med school back when I was motivated. Shoulda. I coulda saved us so much money just in the last month alone.
Today- I took Cam in to follow up- WHAM! Double ear infection. 4th one in 3 months. This kid has to get tubes.
Today- WHAM! Dan gets blisters on his hands and a fever- He also has hand foot and mouth.
SERIOUSLY!??

Anyway, Cameron and I have tried to make the most of the stuck at home sickie sick. Plenty of naps- thankfully the magic mouth wash gets him comfortable, the sickness makes him tired. We sleep.

Also, we run around naked- okay, Cam runs around naked to give the blistering rash a break and some dry air- today he totally flashed all the neighbors. Ah to have no reservations!

We also figured we couldn't get the sidewalk sick so we took out his bike for a walk. I told him to say cheese and he definitely gave me a cheeser smile!

Plus- Look at this gorgeous head of handsome curls! Grandma Pammy coming through!!

Walking….

Well… it's happening! I love that Cameron takes his time for these giant milestones. We thought for sure Cameron would be walking by Christmas- and he could have been, but he takes his time and makes sure he knows he can do things before he does them. He's been cruising the furniture and push toys for 2 months! Well here it is just in time for his birthday! He's been taking slow and sure steps here or there, only one or two before he crouches down, but this is the most he's taken at once!

He was being quite coy and teasing and if the sound works you can hear his chuckle. Dan made some brownies, and that was just the bribe to get him to come and walk!!

Cameron would rather walk than crawl

This boy moves all over. He is definitely mobile- he rolls all over and crawls backwards like a pro. He won't crawl forward though, and when he tries, it almost seems that he would rather just walk instead. Here is a video of how he goes about it....

It is like he can't quite figure out what to do with is hands!!! Silly boy!

Cameron loves the Harmonica

This is so special to me. When I was a little girl, Tyler, myself, and Lee would all ask my Grandpa to play the harmonica for us. It was a special time because it didn't happen often. But we would all go in my grandparents bedroom, sit on the floor, and watch my gramps get out his harmonica and play. He got a new harmonica for his birthday and he played it for us. Cameron loved it.
