Like Father like son. Dan will never live down that he drank puppy water as a small child. That happens to be Cameron's favorite no-no right now. He dumps it all over him daily it seems!
Cam is very independent, a very good thing. He is a Mommy's boy though and definitely prefers me over anyone else. Along with independent comes a serious stubborn streak. He can really throw a tantrum if he doesn't get what he wants when he wants it. There is not usually a warning or build up either. Just suddenly BAM! FEED ME! or BAM! I am a naughty sleeper, but I definitely need a nap!
At 11 months, Cam:
- Stands completely unsupported
- Has added a ton of new sounds in the last 2 days: "B", "ish", "D", "F", "G"
- He says "Hey", and "Hi". Hi was his first word.
- Has 6 total teeth cut through
- Only uses sippy cups all day, still has 2 bottles at night. One before bed, and one in the night.
- Completely transitioned to whole milk, no more formula!
- Had his first movie theatre experience to see Frozen. He did amazing and actually watched nearly all the movie!
I am so excited for his birthday. It is a little bittersweet. This year has flown by, faster than I could have imagined. Of course his shindig is a party more for Dan and I than anything else, but I am planning a fun pirate party and I can't wait to see if he will enjoy opening presents a little more than at Christmas.
Look at how curly the tips of his hair are starting to be! I love it. I have had a bunch of people ask when I am cutting his hair- not for a long while! I love it!!!
This one melts my heart. He is such a joy, and blessing! I love him so much!!

Such cute pictures but of course he is such a little cutie! It is hard to believe that's it's almost been a year! Time certainly does fly. Can't wait to hear about the pirate party. ARGH!!!
