Birthday Party

Today we were invited to our dear friend Sarah Smith's 90th birthday party. She is in our ward and her and her daughter frequently sit with us. Her family threw a nice big luncheon for her today. Many of the elderly people in our ward are friends we really treasure.

Sarah has led a fantastic life and legacy. Today we learned a couple new things about her! When she was a young woman, she had many horses. Her favorite was named Bird, and he was her favorite because he was the fastest, and she loved to ride him bareback! We also learned that Sarah won the game show, "Queen for a Day" in 1959!
