Crazy Weather

We have had quite the cool down and a lot of rain! It has been so nice to not need to water!! This past week though we got hail- MAJOR HAIL! It totally trashed our garden- Thankfully it will revive and still produce- but after the hail, some of our squash and veggies got ruined- and all the leaves looked like a plow came through! But, a side note, my back yard is AWESOME!

Windy!

Yesterday we had a major wind storm. Winds averaged 60 mph and got as high as 88 mph. We always have wind storms this time of year, but this one directly affected us.
Our tree out in the front yard couldn't handle it this year, and some major giant limbs came down. I am so grateful that it didn't come down on our home, but I am sad that my awesome shade tree got damaged.
