My new washer and dryer

I have been complaining for a while now to Dan that we need a new washer and dryer. The ones we had were old and not working efficiently. The washer was shredding clothes and eating socks, and the dryer had to be turned on 2-3 cycles to dry one load of laundry!

I had been shopping around and checking reviews so that we could invest in a set we would- I would- be happy with. 

We found a good deal for President's Day and Dan got them for me! They are LG which rated highly in consumer reports.

Some neat features:

-quiet

-efficient

-digital

-multiple load settings including a wrinkle free and steam cycle - no ironing! Not that I did that anyway...

-they have a load sensor- to ensure that it uses the appropriate amount of water and agitation

-instead of an annoying buzz timer, it sings a song when the load is ready. 

-I can dry a heavy load of towels in about 40 minutes! That beats 2 hours anyway!

-the last cool feature I can think of is that there is a phone app to help diagnose and trouble shoot potential cycle errors!! Way high tech! 

This is how I know I have become an old married mom- I get all sorts of excited over appliances and chores!!
