Independence Day 2013

4th of July is a great day. We get to celebrate our freedom, and the birth of the United States of America!
I have to admit, U.S. history kind of bores me. We are a relatively young Country, and with so much diversity, I battle a little bit with a thought: "What are our American traditions?"
However, the older I get, the more I appreciate history. Our Country is rich in history with regards to industry and invention. We have pioneered our way through many feats and continue to grow as a power in the world. True, our economy and leadership are at an all time low right now, but it is a big deal to continue to back our leaders, and make our voices heard. When we become un-united, we will fall!
Anyway, enough of my ranting. We enjoyed our 4th spending time with family! Cam is too young and really loves his routine at 7ish pm so fireworks were out this year, but our family time and BBQ was awesome!

Of course, our boy is very serious.

Thanks to Auntie Kristen for the cute outfit!

I can get him to smile though.... Plus he just loves his Daddy...

Talking and playing with Grandma is one of the best things to do!

Cameron genuinely seems to like pretty much everyone... He really loves his Uncle Ben though! Uncle Ben can get him to talk and giggle up a storm!
